Our company was founded by Tom Lundborg, Sr. Like many family-operated security monitoring companies, Tom started in a garage on a part-time basis. After only a short time, Tom resigned from his full-time position as an insurance inspector and devoted his time to building his dream of a full-service security company. With the help of his wife, Juanita, A.C.E. Alarms was on its way. In 1989, Tom Lundborg, Jr. left Circuit City Stores, Inc., joined A.C.E and helped develop the company into a full systems integration company, offering commercial fire systems, access control, audio-video systems and a division devoted to servicing home builders. 2007 brought Tom Jr.’s wife to the team after a career as a registered nurse to run the day-to-day operations. In 2014, A.C.E. merged with Interactive Systems and Thomas Lundborg, III, joined the business after getting his degree and playing baseball at the University of North Alabama. A.C.E. and Interactive were full-service security, fire, audio/video, smart home integrators.

So, the name Symspire was born to better represent the diverse offerings. 2022 saw the addition of Tom Jr.’s younger son Andrew Lundborg to the Symspire team after he received an undergraduate degree at Lipscomb University and a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University. Then, Andrew’s wife, Gabi, joined the team to help Symspire expand its presence to Knoxville, TN, Chattanooga, TN, Huntsville, AL and Bowling Green, KY.
